When the rocker 8rm returns, the diaphr8gm is pressed upwards by a spring (15, Fig. 17) and fuel is fed to the float chamber in the carbureMor. When the level in th8 float chamber is sufficiently high, the float valve cIoees and the pressure in the delivery line rises until the pressure on fhe upper side of the diaphr8gm 8Kceeds the Gpring pressure and pumping action ceases. The red arrows on Fig. 17 show the path followed by the fuel. COOLING SYS7EM The cooling system, Fig. 18, is of the pressure , _ type with a circuIation pump (F_ig. 19).
